Dear Partners and Friends,

It’s been a busy autumn season for all of us at Galaxy Desserts. Our big holiday push is in full swing, we’ve completed a facility expansion project, and taken on some exciting new projects. We’re particularly excited about our new consumer website which complements the launch of the Jean-Yves Charon Collection, our consumer packaged goods line for the freezer. And, that’s not all. We’ve broadened our reach with new distribution and are grateful for new additions to our team.

New Consumer Website and Newsletter

websiteWhat fun would a new product launch be without a sweet, new website? We want to create an online portal where fans of our products can go to share recipe ideas, learn more about baking, and keep in touch with us. Our new consumer website has a fresh look and feel quite different from our Trade website, and we plan to continue developing both sites for their respective audiences. We also have a new Consumer Newsletter. Some of the content will be similar to this newsletter, but it will focus less on trade and will be geared more towards our new consumer audience. Facility Expansion

Our 16,000 square foot facility expansion is complete! We went from 36,000 to 52,000 square feet in about four months. We now have a full stand-alone packaging room, a state-of-the-art spiral freezer, and an additional 400-pallet holding freezer. You can imagine how the expansion increased our capacity! We will gladly give you a tour of our new digs the next time you visit our offices.

We’re Growing: Meet our Newest Team Members!

TanyaTanya Molina: Office Manager / AP Accounting Assistant
Tanya comes to Galaxy with a background in customer service in the finance industry. We couldn’t have found a more perfect fit since her role here at Galaxy requires that she wear many hats. Tanya spends her free time reading and hanging out with family and friends. Her favorite dessert is the cannelé.

ChristinaChristina Souza: Sales Coordinator
Christina joined Galaxy in late September, and has hit the ground running. She comes to us with 14 years of customer service experience, most recently at 24 Hour Fitness where she was the Richmond Branch Manager. When she’s not taking sales orders or negotiating with trucking companies, she stays busy keeping up with her 2 kids.
